SCB account unfrozen after a two-year police hold
The account had been frozen since March 2024 on an order from the Ayutthaya police. The client had once let an acquaintance receive a payment into her account, and that money was linked to a complaint. Previous attempts had not resolved the hold.
Outcome: freeze lifted, access to about 5 million THB restored.

What we did
- First trip: we gave a statement and got the list of documents the officer needed.
- Second trip: we came with the client and interpreted her statement.
- We wrote an explanation letter and translated it and her screenshots into Thai.
- Third trip: the officer issued the release letter. We checked with the cyber police that no other cases remained and took the letter to SCB with the client.
- The bank lifted the freeze about two weeks after the release letter.

What we did
- We went with the client to the cyber police in Bangkok. The officer agreed to lift the hold and sent the request online.
- For weeks the branch in Chiang Mai said it had received nothing. We called the officer again and again and set up a call between the bank and the police.
- At the bank’s request, the officer sent the release documents by regular mail.
- We explained every step to the clients in their WeChat group, in Chinese.

Bangkok Bank account unblocked after a trip to Udon Thani
The account was opened on a tourist visa and frozen about a year later. The client, now on a Privilege (Elite) visa, couldn’t open an account at other banks because of this hold.
Outcome: account unblocked. Afterwards we also helped him open an account at SCB.

“Great news, thank you.”
Ilya · Telegram · translated from Russian · 2026
What we did
- The bank printout showed a hold ordered by the Mueang Udon Thani police, more than 500 km from Bangkok.
- We flew to Udon Thani, found the officer and met him the next morning.
- At the station we found the disputed 40,000 THB transfer. The complainant had already got her money back and didn’t want to continue.
- The officer issued a release letter to the bank the same day. We translated it for the client and took it to the cyber police in Bangkok.
Three police cases, one frozen account: money released
After exchanging crypto for a friend, the client’s card and account with about 150,000 THB were frozen. Clearing the first hold did not resolve the other two cases.
Outcome: the bank released the money and kept the account open.
- Time to outcome
- 7 working days after the final release letter
- Our work
- 3 working days: three police stations, AMLO
- Client
- DTV visa, Russian-speaking
What we did
- He was on a DTV visa, so we said upfront that the realistic goal was the money and that the bank might close the account.
- Day 1: the Bang Na police and a statement at AMLO. The first hold was lifted.
- Two weeks later the bank said other cases remained. Through the 1441 hotline and the cyber police we found two more.
- Day 2: a statement at the cyber police and a visit to the Plai Bang police.
- Day 3: in Nonthaburi the complainant agreed to withdraw her complaint after the client returned part of the money. That decision was his.
P2P-related police hold lifted for a student
A student from China exchanged baht through P2P with a stranger, and one of the transfers was disputed. His account was frozen on a police case from Chiang Mai.
Outcome: the police lifted the freeze and the account works again.
- Time to outcome
- About 1 month after the police meeting
- Our work
- 1 day in Bangkok, then follow-up
- Client
- Student from China

“My bank is ok. Thank you so much!”
WeChat · written in English · 2026
What we did
- We prepared his documents: passport, visa, statements with the disputed transfer, study papers and P2P screenshots, and the questions the police were likely to ask.
- We told him in writing that nobody can guarantee the result: the police, the bank and the complainant decide.
- One meeting with the police in Bangkok. The documents were sent on to Chiang Mai.
- The letter got lost on the way. We kept following up with the officer by phone and supported the case until the result. Our work was paid at our standard rates.

Bank and crypto exchange both unblocked after P2P trades
After P2P trades the client’s Thai bank account was blocked. A licensed Thai crypto exchange also blocked his access until it saw a police document that named it.
Outcome: after our bank visit, both the bank account and the exchange account were unblocked.
- Time to outcome
- About 7 working days after our last visit
- Our work
- 4 working days: police trip, exchange letter, source of funds
- Client
- Retiree, Russian-speaking
What we did
- We gave a statement together at the cyber police. Through the 1441 hotline we learned that an unfreeze request existed, yet the account was still blocked.
- The case led to a police station in Prachuap Khiri Khan, so we went there.
- We asked the officer to name the crypto exchange in the release document.
- At the bank we showed his source of funds: a Russian pension and rent from a flat in Russia. P2P had been his way to move his own money.

Bangkok Bank account unblocked after regular crypto exchange transfers
The client, on a work visa with a work permit, exchanged large amounts every week through a licensed Thai crypto exchange, without P2P. The bank restricted the account itself and sent an investigation request to the cyber police.
Outcome: account unblocked after the source of funds was confirmed at the bank.
- Time to outcome
- About 7 working days after our last visit
- Our work
- 3 working days: evidence, cyber police, bank
- Client
- Work permit, Russian-speaking
What we did
- We collected his exchange history and the other evidence.
- We gave a statement at the cyber police, and the officer issued the release document.
- At the bank we handed in the documents and confirmed the source of funds.
- The client thanked us in person and said he would come back if he ever needs help again.

Account unblocked and a Krungthai account opened on the same day
The client, on a work visa, had a frozen account. He also wanted a second account at another bank, but couldn’t get together the documents the bank asked for.
Outcome: the frozen account was unblocked and a new Krungthai account was opened.
- Time to outcome
- Both on the day of the visits
- Our work
- 1 day: cyber police and two banks
- Client
- Work visa, Russian-speaking
What we did
- We went with him to the cyber police and got the unfreeze papers.
- The same day we took them to his bank, which accepted them.
- Then we helped him collect the extra documents and interpreted at Krungthai, where he opened a new account.
- The client thanked us for unblocking the account and opening the new one.

Krungsri account opened for a student
The client studied at a private language school on an ED visa. His Kasikorn account still worked, but card withdrawals were limited, and he needed a second account.
Outcome: a new Krungsri account was opened.
- Our work
- Several bank visits: bank choice, documents, interpreting
- Client
- Student visa, Russian-speaking
What we did
- We checked which banks were realistic with his visa and school at that time: besides Kasikorn, only Krungsri.
- We found a Krungsri branch that was willing to look at his case.
- His school’s documents were not accepted at first, so he moved to a school that banks accept.
- We helped him collect the new documents and interpreted at the branch.
Free guidance after a Phuket bank restriction
The client owns a condo in Phuket, comes once a year on a visa exemption stamp and receives rent into the account. The account was blocked in 2024.
Outcome: advice given; the client continued on her own. Not every case needs a paid package.
- Our work
- 1 consultation
- Client
- Condo owner, Russian-speaking
What we did
- We checked with the cyber police: there was no police case.
- At the bank we were told that the account was restricted because she had no long-term visa.
- We told her honestly that the outcome was uncertain and explained which documents to collect.
Real cases, anonymized. We show a client’s first name or photo only with their permission. Every case is different: the bank, the branch and the police officer decide, and past results are examples, not a promise.
What clients say
Real messages from clients, published with their permission. Most wrote in Russian or Chinese, so we translated them.
“All the problems were solved, the account was unblocked 🤝”

“All I had to do was fly in. The trips to the police and the cyber police, the bank visit with the police letter and everything else were organised by Mike. Everything went at the highest level.”
“Thanks to you and your ability to communicate with the authorities, this very difficult issue was settled with minimal losses for me and my family budget.”
“Nobody else would take this on. At the bank and the police, all I heard was ‘Mister, can not.’ The account was unblocked, although it took time.”
“Without his help, finding common ground with the police, reading the Thai documents and fixing the errors in them would have been impossible.”
