Help with frozen and restricted Thai bank accounts
We help foreigners when a Thai bank freezes or restricts an account, or refuses to open one. Choose the situation closest to yours, or send the form and we will tell you who most likely restricted the account and what usually helps.
We help with Bangkok Bank, KBank, SCB, Krungthai, Krungsri and other Thai banks.

Six common situations
Some situations overlap. Choose the closest one, or just send the form and we will sort it out.

Account frozen
You can’t withdraw or transfer money, and the branch won’t say why. First we find out who restricted the account: the bank, the police or both.
Who decides: the bank, the police or both
Typical package: Basic to Complex
How we help →
KYC and compliance review
The bank asks you to update your passport, visa or address, or to come to the branch, and limits the account until you do.
Who decides: the bank’s compliance team

How we help →
Source of Funds request
The bank wants proof of where a large or foreign transfer came from: salary, a sale, a contract or exchange receipts.
Who decides: the bank’s compliance team

Police or cyber police freeze
A hold ordered by a police station or the cyber police, often after a disputed transfer. Usually the officer has to send a release letter to the bank.
Who decides: the police officer on the case
Typical package: Complex, or VIP outside Bangkok
How we help →
Crypto and P2P freeze
Frozen after a P2P or exchange deal, often because the sender’s name didn’t match or the other side of the trade filed a complaint.
Who decides: the bank, or the police after a complaint
Typical package: Standard or Complex
How we help →
Account opening refused
The bank refused you because of your visa, missing documents or an old hold on another account. We find out what is blocking it and explain your options.
Who decides: the bank
Price: from 15,900 THB
How we help →Who can lift the restriction
The right next step depends on who restricted the account. That is the first thing we find out.
The bank
KYC updates, source-of-funds checks and internal reviews are decided by the bank’s compliance team. We prepare the documents and letters in Thai and follow up with the branch until there is an answer.
The police
If a police station or the cyber police ordered the hold, the bank usually waits for a release letter from the officer. We find the case, meet the officer and prepare the evidence in Thai.
Both
Sometimes the bank and the police are both involved. We work in the right order to avoid unnecessary repeat visits.
The bank and the police make the final decision. Nobody can honestly guarantee the result.
How it works
Free case check
Send the form or a message: which bank, when it started and what the bank or the police told you. You usually get an honest first assessment the same business day.
Written quote and plan
We confirm the package, the price, the expected timeline and any possible third-party costs in writing. You pay only after you agree.
Documents in Thai
We prepare the explanation letter and the translations, organise your source-of-funds documents and give you a short checklist of what to bring.
Visits and follow-up
Within your package, we go with you to the bank and, if needed, the police, speak Thai for you and keep following up until there is a final answer.
